The Cat Assocation of Topeka (C.A.T.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of abandoned and relinquished cats and kittens. As of May 1995 over 3,000 cats and kittens have been placed in new homes.

Now our efforts at finding loving homes for these cats and kittens are aided by the services offered by Petfinder.com, an on-line, searchable database of over 60,000 animals that need homes from almost 4,000 animal shelters and adoption organizations across the USA and Canada.

Pet lovers can search for a pet that best matches their needs, and C.A.T. is now listed with their service. Petfinder also includes classified ads, discussion forums and a library of animal welfare articles.

All visitors are welcome at our shelter to see the cats and visit with us during kennel hours. You can also come chat with us and learn more about our shelter at the Topeka PetCo the first Saturday of each month from 12 - 3 pm.
